The History of Tech Beam Media
Tech Beam Media was originally founded in late 2016 as just Tech Beam. Carlos, Zach and Joe were all attending college together for Information Technology and thought it would be fun to start a YouTube channel together. Carlos knew that if the channel grew into something sustainable, a company would need to be created to oversee it. That’s where Tech Beam Media was created.
At first, the focus was solely on a YouTube channel however Carlos realized that Tech Beam Media could be more than just three friends making videos on YouTube. Today TBM is pleased to offer web design services as well as tech services to both individuals and businesses in the North Iowa area. If your website needs a refresh or you’re looking to update some old technology around the house or at the office, Tech Beam Media is ready to help.

Carlos Oulman
Owner
Carlos is the driving force behind Tech Beam Media. He pushes the company forward; decides what areas the company should focus on and oversees all active projects.
Joe Trotman
Business Administrator
Joe manages the back end for the team. He handles logistics, routes resources to the correct team members and gets clients in touch with the correct members of the team when they need support.
Zach Thoma
RAM Show Co-Host
Zach’s been with Tech Beam Media from the start. He currently serves as the co-host for our weekly tech news web show.
Dane Papouchis
IT Apprentice
Dane joined the team in 2021 as an IT apprentice. He assists the team with current projects learning the ropes to become a full IT specialist.
